The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, responsible for coordinating the economic and social fields of the organisation, specifically in regards to the 15 specialised agencies, the eight functional commissions and the five regional commissions under its jurisdiction. The Council serves as the central forum for discussing international economic and social issues and formulating policy recommendations addressed to member states and the United Nations system.

MEET THE DIAS
Zeke Kramer ('25) is a junior at Boston University Academy and has participated in model United Nations conferences for the past five years. He was also a staffer at BUAMUN in 2022 and 2023. Zeke enjoys participating in clubs at BUA, including Running club, Philosophy club, Spanish club, and the Model UN team. He also plays tennis on the BUA tennis team and runs on the cross country team.

Quinn ('25) is a junior at Boston University Academy. He has been involved in student council and runs the Student Life Improvement Club. He also loves singing, the city, and his two cats.
